Day 1, Part 2 - New Friends in Topeka

It's been a long but fun day for the Google Express team.  We rolled into Topeka, KS in our Bob Lindsay Honda Crosstour, settled into our lodging and then spent some time checking out Topeka.  We were contacted by the "Think Big Topeka" fiber project team and arranged a dinner meeting. We were greated by a crew of 10 Topekanites.   We had a wonderful time and have 10 new friends in this great city.

We're beat and hitting the hay for a long drive tomorrow.  Day 2 coming up....

Itinerary

Monday May 24th

Leave Peoria at 7am
Arrive in Google (Topeka) KS at 3pm
Do "man on street" interviews starting at 4pm

Tuesday May 25th

Leave Google (Topeka) KS at 7am

Wednesday 26th

Re-group after Tim's depature from the Google Express.
Make alternate plans to get Fred to Mountain View.
Fred will be flying to California

Thursday 27th

Promote Peoria throughout Mountain View 7am - 9am
Coffee with the Mayor of Mtn View 9am-10am
Continue Promoting Peoria throughout Mountain View and finding out what others know about us.

Friday

Fly back to Denver to pick up the car and start driving back home.
